Sure, it’s tempting to huddle up in the house with your new tech toys and books, but hopefully, you’ve got a good stash of mittens and scarves, and maybe those little hand warmers (how do they work, anyway?). If you have a high school student, this is a great time to sit down with them and review application deadlines for teen internship programs at Chicago’s awesome museums and zoos. Not local, but of note this time of year, applications to summer programs including the United States Naval Academy Summer STEM Camp, Girls on Ice are open this month.
Chicago Museum Week– it looks like this event is on hold for 2020. We’ll let you know if that changes.
Chicago Theatre Week isn’t until February, but tickets go on sale in early January, and cheap seats are a hot item. If the theater is your thing, be on the lookout for news.
