The Northwestern Center for Talent Development (CTD) provides a wide range of programs and services to identify and serve gifted students, as well as a few resources to support their parents. They offer real-life enrichment and academic classes at a few sites around the Chicago area and they offer online classes, as well.
CTD is gearing up for their annual conference for gifted kids and their parents, Opportunities for the Future.
The conference takes place on Saturday, June 29 from 1-5 at Northwestern University’s Evanston campus. There will be sessions for parents as well as for kids in different age tracks. Children as young as four-year-old may attend with their parents.
Parents are welcome to attend (without children in tow) even if their child has not enrolled in CTD classes or testing opportunities.
Look through the session descriptions and see if it’s a fit for you.
