In February 2017, a meteorite landed in Lake Michigan. Teens from the Adler Planetarium and Shedd Aquarium have been working with Adler and NASA scientists to recover and investigate what could be rocks from space!
In this experience, you will have the chance to contribute to this exciting, new work by working with Adler scientists to sort, sift and figure out if what they’ve recovered are indeed pieces of that meteorite through use of microscopes and scientific processes.
Open to tweens and teens, grades 7 – 12. For more information, please click here.
