February 26, 2020 By The Maker Mom

We know that STEM Kids Chicago readers care deeply about education, especially when it comes to science and tech learning. You might be lucky enough to have a public school that suits your needs in your neighborhood. Or Not. In which case, we’re here to help with a guide to the best private schools in the Chicago area.

Students at private, or independent, schools typically enjoy smaller class sizes, a broader curriculum, opportunities for a custom, differentiated learning experience and less reliance on standardized testing. Want to see for yourself? Many of these schools host open house events in October, November, and January. And, of course, you can always contact the school for a tour.
