The Chicago Toy and Game Fair is coming to town this weekend. It’s been fun to see this family-friendly festival of play grow over the years. From its humble roots in the a convention center in Schaumburg, it seems to grow larger with each new year at Navy Pier. The Chicago Toy and Game Fair, also known as ChiTag, will take place on Saturday, November 18 from 10 to 6 and Sunday, November 19 from 10 to 5.
Tickets are $15 for attendees ages 13 and up and $8 for children 5-12. Surf around you’ll for discount codes or possibly a Groupon. See their site for special discounts for Boy and Girls Scouts in uniform, credentialed librarians and educators, firefighters, grandparents, and more. Participants in the Young Inventor Challenge receive complimentary admission for their families all weekend long. Remember there’s a hefty parking fee at Navy Pier as well.
